Started as a dream given by God, High Plains Service Dogs and Therapeutic Riding Center is a non profit organization established to provide highly trained service dogs to those with various disabilities. We will also provide therapeutic riding program to children and adults with disabilities. We will also have a program for at risk youth to voluntarily work with the animals and participants to gain life experience and self esteem. The dogs we use are rescued from local shelters and rescues. We save their life, allowing that organization to help another dog, and in return the dog once trained can save another life by giving back to their recipient and their family by giving independence. Help save at least two lives in one package deal.

Equine Assisted Therapeutic Riding Program

(Hippo Therapy)

We provide therapeutic horses to serve as a vessel for the therapy program known as hippo therapy.

Therapeutic riding helps with balance, coordination, speech, social and emotional therapy.

We will work closely with the participant and their therapy program to develop a program to aid in each participant's goals and needs.

Service Dogs

We rescue dogs from local shelters to be service dogs for individuals with disabilities.

We train dogs for Diabeties, Autsum, Parkinkon's MS, MD (Other Mobility needs) PTSD, Sight impaired, Hearing impaired and many more

Fosters URGENTLY Needed

We have an URGENT need for dog fosters and puppy raisers. You get the pleasure of helpng a dog for from shelter dog to Service Dog, and save the dog and the dog then goes on to help a person through life.

Currently we have 4 dogs that need fosters and there are 10 dogs in shelters that would make great dogs,

We just need people willing to temperarly foster the dogs and save their life.

We provide food and medical you provide loving home and love!

Recycling for Funding Program

Recycling Cell Phones, Ink Jet Cartridges and Toner Cartridges

You can donate these items to us and it costs you nothing, however we submit these and receive funding from the recycling organization called Funding Factory.

Please collect these items around your house, job,

business, churches and more.

As with all donations are tax deductible!
